Match-making Horti Fair

Opdracht
Syntens was in the process of organising a match-making event at the Horti Fair (a major horticultural fair) in Amsterdam. A third year IBMS student (International Business and Management Studies) had to bring parties together in the field of innovative technology for horticulture.

Aanpak
It was a challenging job for the student to contact the companies, to organize the stand and to upload the companies’ profiles to the website. The concept of ‘placement supervison’ was quite new to him. The student grasped things really quickly. His core task was to get people to attend the match-making event. His language knowledge and his telemarketing experience came in very handy. Obviously he was not afraid to pick up the phone.

Resultaat
The combination of foreign experience and telemarketing background made this third year IBMS student, the perfect placement student for Syntens. He turned the international match-making at the Horti Fair into a considerable success, leading to another assignment in Spain.
